I'm Aimee Evnin-Bingham, a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) and AASECT-certified sex therapist based in San Francisco, California. I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate intimacy challenges, sexual concerns, relationship struggles, and trauma — in a nonjudgmental, affirming space.
I offer in-person sex therapy at my Castro district office and virtual therapy to clients throughout California. For clients beyond California, I provide sex and relationship coaching worldwide.
I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, kink-friendly, and welcoming of all relationship structures — monogamous, non-monogamous, and polyamorous.
I see clients in person at my office on 18th Street in the heart of San Francisco's Castro neighborhood, and virtually for clients throughout California and worldwide coaching beyond state lines.
My Journey to Becoming a Sex Therapist
My passion for sex therapy began during my undergraduate studies in psychology, where I was drawn to San Francisco’s culture of sexual freedom. This vibrant city helped me embrace my authentic self and fueled my dedication to exploring human sexuality. Determined to deepen my expertise, I pursued specialized coursework and training in sex therapy, sexual health, and relationship counseling.
After earning my Master’s in Counseling Psychology at the University of San Francisco, I embarked on a fulfilling career helping individuals and couples with challenges such as:
